Transmission
Technical expertise and proven experience equip Service Electric to provide “live line” maintenance, system upgrades, re-conductoring and complete rebuilds at any voltage, up to and including 765kV. With proven barehand work techniques and specialized equipment, crews can complete tasks while eliminating the need to interrupt power service.
Substation
Service Electric has the capability to construct every facet of a substation– from foundations to control panels and everything in between. Our crews handle a wide range of voltages, up to and including 765kV, with the most experienced personnel in the substation industry.
Distribution
Service Electric performs distribution work ranging from 4kV to 34.5kV, including overhead, underground, energized, and aerial work. Our history includes millions of miles of line installed, and our work is often performed along heavily traveled highways and inaccessible backlots.
Emergency Restoration
In the aftermath of hurricanes, tornadoes, winter storms and other natural disasters, Service Electric answers the call to restore power to communities in need. Our teams have the ability to quickly mobilize crews and equipment anywhere in the nation. We respond with the experience, know-how, and compassion to restore power safely, expeditiously and professionally.
Technical Services
Reliability is critical to any electric utility or industrial power system. Our technical services range from commissioning to full maintenance, testing, and repair. We support electric integrity by servicing virtually all equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, relays, controls, switches, LTCs. If protecting asset life expectancy, avoiding unplanned outages, and saving repair and replacement costs is part of your power planning, Service Electric is ready to help.
Energized Services
Service Electric’s highly-skilled team has the technical expertise and proven experience to provide “live line” maintenance, system upgrades, re-conductoring and complete rebuilds at almost any voltage, eliminating the need to interrupt power service. Our energized work crews have completed extensive training and receive annual recertification training to maintain qualifications as part of the Quanta Energized Services group.
